Procedures

Selecting a high school can be both a daunting and exciting process. Think about the person you are, the high school experience you would like to have, and the academic and spiritual commitment you and your family are willing to make. At the end of the admissions process, you may find your best discovery is a new appreciation of yourself, your interests and talents!

During the Admissions process, we invite you to "get to know" us and we most certainly would like to get to know you. We provide many venues to assist you and your family in applying and choosing the most stimulating high school environment. On the following pages you will find all the information to help make your application process as smooth as possible. The administration and staff are always here to help, so please feel free to contact us at your convenience.

 
Complete an application
Online applications for the 2017-2018 school year can be accessed through our website www.bereaneagles.org beginning November 4, 2016.

Next Step
Applicants being considered for acceptance will be contacted by the admissions office to schedule a family interview.
 
 
Decisions
Each student's file is reviewed by the Admission Committee, which meets in an executive session. Decisions include consideration of the applicant's potential for success in our program and the parents' desire for a Christ-centered education for their children. Parents will be notified in writing as to acceptance or non-acceptance. Reasons for either decision are kept confidential within the committee.
 
 
Acceptance
Families will be notified of admission decisions by mail. A completed transcript from the student's prior school must be received before the student can attend classes. BCHS reserves the right to retract an offer of admission to a student previously accepted if the final transcript reveals performance or behavior unacceptable to BCHS's standard for admission, or if any information on the original application is found to be false.
 
 
Re-enrolling Applications
Re-enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year will be done through RenWeb beginning in January 9, 2017. In addition to the re-enrollment process through RenWeb, all appropriate forms and fees must be submitted to the front office by February 28, 2017. Beginning March 1, 2017, if you have not completed all the steps for re-enrollment, we cannot guarantee your student a position at BCHS; positions will become available to our waiting pool and the re-enrollment fee increases by $100 after February 28, 2017.
